An Absolute Nonsense Poem That Has a Cat in Hell’s Chance in Being Published Because Shawn is Much More Sensible Than That

Here…
Are some words to tingle you silly.
From the heart of an outsider who
Likes to remain inside.
Interesting to be disinterested.

Well the world was a topsy turvy place
Just the other day, Twitter clouds literally just
Spat out the rain, down upon offended
Heads and boy— did all hell break loose.

People and more people danced on
The platform of likes and blocks /
A really mad Republic of Babel.

I’m out of my mind, book me into
A poetry reading before I regret it—
My mind isn’t coming to its senses
anytime soon.
Ah fuck—
I’m on zoom as a pussy cat?
Why I’m I a cat?
Why I’m I a cat?
WHY I’M I A— #%*¥$^<• CAT!!??
