Throughout so many years
a story has been told.
It has passed by generations,
which makes it very old.
The Baron is a powerful spirit,
who dwells within Christmas lighting.
To this day no one can confirm
his presence or an actual sighting.
He has an army of soldiers,
inside each strand they reside.
Will there be an order for light?
Only the Baron will decide.
It only takes one warrior
to shut off an entire string.
When the lights don’t stay on,
it becomes a stressful thing.
Trying to find the one light
that puts an entire strand out.
Don’t test the Baron’s power.
He can make you want to shout.
If the Baron says yes,
your lights will be aglow.
Darkness will appear,
if the order is no.
To try and please the Baron,
don’t let the lights collect dust.
Put them up every year.
This mission is a must!
It doesn’t matter what color
or what the size may be.
You will have the Baron’s blessing
when they’re displayed for all to see.
