To My Friends and Enemies

May you never be

so well informed

that sunny side

up eggs for dinner

don’t sound lovely.

I don’t wish being

spoiled or right on

anyone. May your

taste in wine not get

so good you can’t enjoy

Casal Garcia vinho

verde with a friend

you haven’t seen since

2019. And may a pot

of simmering onions

make you hungry

until you die.
