Calypso vibes on the veranda,
Hot Cuban nights in
Downtown smokey rooms.
Salsa on the dance floor /
I’m rocking with you,
I’m clocking you.
Your kisses are like tangerine peaches.
But you’re a salsa girl whose love
Is seductively just out of reach.
Grinding in Havana – oh baby,
Won’t you show me some more
Of that hot lipped pouting,
Yea..
Calypso vibes on the veranda,
Hot Cuban nights in downtown
Smokey rooms,
Balsa trees on the roadside.
The strumming guitar drowning out
The crooning of your fancy words,
trying to seduce me into the bedroom.
Havanan vibes push the night
Into morning, the beaches are
Offering shells of wisdom.
What you throw away baby
Will always return / will always return.
The jazz and cigar smoke of the
Night lingers on your clothes.
But you’re a salsa girl whose love
Is seductively just out of reach.
Clothes are left lingering on the beach.
