Parched mouths find subtle escape
amongst long pours that engorge
chardonnay charlatans
With a rising confidence
That gives rise to conjecture
and slurred ignorance
where subtle truths find light
Through drunken ramblings
Where yeasted sentiment finds use
amongst smashed glasses
and broken bar stools
That only state hidden discontent-
Just below inebriated façades, toxic.
