I’ve always been an avid lover of finding new artists to listen to of all genres. Social media has been a very powerful tool in aiding this with the different avenues we can receive music. This next artist I came across on my Tik Tok’s For You page. Introducing R&B musician, Tré$um.
I recently had the chance to chop it up with the Orlando artist in regard to his love for music and we discussed his latest project, Gemini. Born in Michigan, Tré$um’s love for music began at a young age as he recalls watching Usher perform and his mom stating that he should be on stage as well. The singer has been making music for ten years now and he has released several projects that can be found on music streaming services. This week, Tré$um released his latest album, Gemini.
Named after the singer’s zodiac sign, Tré$um wanted the project to show different sides of appreciation for his love of women. The album consisted of various R&B vibes with elements of Trap & Hip Hop throughout the project. His single, ‘That’s Lit’ was the first song I listened to on Tik Tok, a club ready track sure to please fans. The production on the album is very nice as the beats compliments the artist’s vocals.
Tré$um’s album Gemini is a good introduction to the artist’s music for new listeners. You can see the dedication in his craft as this is a well put together body of work displaying his artistry. His ability to switch from singing to rapping at times shows that he draws inspirations from the likes of Trey Songz and Chris Brown. Thank you to Tik Tok for putting me on to another dope artist. Check out Tré$um’s latest album, Gemini and more available now on music streaming services.

Street (Interlude)
All she wanted was a come up
Spit her game like a XXL Freestyle
She said she was looking for love
But she only invested in a free trial
She got caught up in the courtship
I demanded a mistrial
But I ended up sentenced to rebuild myself
Had to just compile
She did it for the streets
Came from opposite directions
And we just didn’t meet
Wanted so much up front
Right after the greet
Rained on my parade
Belittle and berate
So cold it felt like a sleet
She did it for the streets
Show You Off
Mannequin
I swear the force be with you
Anakin
Been urging the courage
But in my head I been panicking
In my head, I imagine us packing
Together we taking trips
You don’t have to say anything
I pick you up and let’s just dip
We got the queso if I say so
End up in Vegas getting the chips
Getting the drips
We don’t have to question anything
Me, I won’t a say a lip
Just know that you mine
When my right hand applies that grip
