Breezy

It’s crazy to think that Chris Brown has been in the music industry for over 15 years now. Throughout his checkered past, Chris has maintained being one of the greatest artists of our generation. This month he released his tenth studio album, BREEZY, a project he dedicated to his core fans. And from first listen, the album lives up to expectations.

One thing that plagued some of his previous albums was the length of the project. Over the last few, we’ve grown accustomed to the singer putting together 30+ tracks for the standard edition of the album and then releasing a deluxe with another 10-15. This time, Chris consolidates to 24 tracks that work seamlessly together. For his album rollout, Chris has released a different sound for each single: club vibes with “Iffy”, smooth and sexy with “WE (Warm Embrace)” and Afrobeats with “Call Me Everyday” featuring Wizkid. The features on this album come jam-packed as the first twelve songs on the album are collaborations with Jack Harlow, BLEU, Lil’ Wayne, H.E.R., Ella Mai and more.

Love or hate Chris Brown, the R&B singer still continues to make quality music. Breezy is a great representation of the artist who has put in so many years in the music industry. He has nothing left to prove but to continue to do it for the love of the art.
