Island Lie

can just buy?
So I filled up my expanding home with TVs,
Never in silence with records of KK on repeat,
Appliances running in the kitchen, arcade in the basement
Two months in, my remote Radland now bustles with noise
With every convenience plus rockets, pyramids, and Stonehenge
What did I escape? I ask on my way to deposit more Bells,
Whittle down that loan that won’t pay for itself
Still daily, you call to me with your turquoise coast
Sharks in the waves, fish in rivers, scorpion running at me, sting
