Tacos in Bed

But there was one time –
on a long trip we stayed in some brand named hotel
and my grandparents ordered tacos in the drive through

Three bites per soft taco rolled just right,
legs tucked beneath too tight sheets,
and ripping mild sauce packets with my teeth

is still one of my favorite childhood memories.
