Ode To Beer

We’re in our thirties, but we still need our bottles
Fat Tires and 90 Shillings, instead of mother’s milk
amber ales and IPAs dance with livers and dignity
but hey, I like beer,
boys like beer
girls like beer
Supreme Court justices like beer
a few jukeboxes and egos get rearranged
but the buzz isn’t half bad
