He spoke rapidly without affect for two hours straight but with that thick accent I got nothing – just nodded, said “yes”, nodded and smiled occasionally. Suddenly he stood “Lessgo!”. 

“Where?” 

Now he’s angry. “To-da weerhowz” he snapped. Then more deliberately and slowly: “wemuss move dabodi now! Before f#%#@ police find!”
