Virgo Tendencies
I can see your heart dancing
Dancing like we in a September
We could’ve been October’s very own
And I would’ve been thankful in November
And rain presents on you with your presence
And be merry in December
Yet new year, new you
They say patience a virtue
I just hope you ain’t making me pay for someone that hurt you
Now you full of pain crying from the one that desert you
I’m ready to wine n dine with you, take you home and dessert you
You say you got Virgo tendencies
May have met your match with a Cancer
Our emotions go pitter patter
Feet of a tiny dancer
Questions pondered from my exes
Yet I was able to find the answers
I just want to start a conversation
With a witty banter
Let Go
Sometimes
I forget how far I come
So far gone to become undone
Drake said it first
Now I’m on one
And I’m not the one
Dwelling on the past is like scratching on old wounds
Right now, I’m here to watch new plants bloom
Give me my flowers while I’m here
No more will I ever stand down to some bullshit out of fear
Never will I let the negativity loom near
Letting go was the best thing I did for me
Paid the price with some, cost a small fee
I’m not doing this for show, when I say I’m with glee
I’m happy
Don’t care if you were mad at me
I put myself first now and I do it gladly
