Soliloquy of the conceited

Do you like it?

It’s cool isn’t it

It’s very rare

And special

I bought it in that shop

Across from my office

I work in the city you know

Big job I have

Power

Responsibilities

My bonus is more

Than your annual salary.

Hard work pays off

Of course there is

An element of luck

Right place at the right time

And looks count too

Some of it I owe to my elegance

And my high heels

But I look after myself you know

I’m fit

Super fit

I run for charity, it’s important

To care for others

Isn’t it

I talk about that in my podcast

I have a podcast

It’s good, very good

I have followers

I’m quite well known you know

And appreciated

But that’s because I give back in a way

With my time

And my expertise.

Yes I’ll have another one

Large please, thank you

Actually, Champagne please

What was your name again?
