Long-haul Travel

begins with drawn out pours
Of crystalline mirth,
Concocted in far off lands
Destined to be flown over

Never savoured
Beyond momentary glances
At fleeting skies
That signify seamless time

Consumed in lacquered ecstasy,
And lucrative champagnes
That nourish weary wanderers
Blindly trusting fiery shuttles

That break time’s grasp,
All simply pilgrims tumbling
Through tawdry time zones

Tapping to the sound of vibrant vermouth
Delectable.
