“Are you going to be a warrior or a wimp this time?” Jackie asks. Her husband sniffs dramatically. He’s got a cold. She knows what he wants. “My fee for husband pity is $20.00 per hour,” she says. “Payment due upfront.” He sighs and reaches for his wallet. She smiles.
